The Library is home to tens of thousands of books including a wide selection in the restricted area, which is roped off near the Librarian, Madam Pince's desk. Amid the winding book cases that are at least 8 shelves high there are small open areas where students can sit to do research and other homework for their classes. It's best to keep your voice down and whatever you do, don't bring anything to drink or eat to the Library especially chocolate. Madam Pince will throw you out without thinking twice.
