No New Posts Honeydukes Sweet Shop

*Sniff...Sniff* Do you smell that? That's Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, thingyroach Clusters, Sherbet Lemon balls, and of course Honeyduke's world famous chocolate slabs. A little past Zonko's and across the way from The Three Broomsticks is Honeyduke's Sweet Shop. This place could put even the most die hard sweet tooth into sugar shock for life. Their holiday specials are always better than the year before and the best part is that they never run out of sweets. From floor to ceiling and wall to wall there is nothing but candy of every color, texture, taste, and country to satiate everyone.

No New Posts The Three Broomsticks

Across the way from Honeyduke's is The Three Broomsticks owned and operated by Madam Rosemerta it is the best place to warm up with a delicious Butter beer or quench your thirst with one of the other hundreds of beverages that she serves there. Like the Leaky Cauldron in London, The Three Broomsticks always has a wide array of visitors coming and going on their travels including hags, vampires, goblins, dwarves, witches, and wizards. Of course the regulars are usually men because they all favor the always smiling and friendly Rosemerta.

No New Posts The Shrieking Shack

The dilapidated appearance of The Shrieking Shack adds to the stories surrounding the most haunted house in all of Britain. The villagers never go near it because they believe that particularly violent spirits live there and make noise at all times of day or night. This has caused it to be set aside from the main village and fenced off with a do not enter sign. Occasionally an adventurous student will go beyond the sign but they never actually make it to the rotting porch for fear of the ghosts.

No New Posts Dervish and Banges

As the advertisement says inside the shop is filled with all sorts of magical devices to satisfy even the most pickiest of witches and wizards. New cauldrons, sneakoscopes, foe glasses, pensives, and anything else you might need can be found here on one of the alphabetized shelves and are separated by model, weight, cost and color for your convenience. Dervish and Banges also buys old items from students and shoppers looking to make a little money and they also do repairs on items.

No New Posts Gladrags Wizardwear

Robes, hats, shoes...they're all items you can find at this wizarding clothing store. They fill the racks and shelves in this small but still roomy shop at the end of the row in Hogsmeade. So when you're in need of new robes after an accident up at school you'll find them here at the little stone building passed The Hogshead.

No New Posts The Train Station

This rather small train station is nothing more than a small loading dock where Hogwarts Students board and depart the Hogwarts Express. The train station is at the very end of Hogsmeade and pushed back a little from the main road. The lake that extends from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts is just a few feet away and on the first day back to school, Hagrid is there to meet the students with carriages for the older students and boats across the water for the first years.

No New Posts Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop

The inside of Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop looks a lot like the Divination classroom with it's smoky air full of suffocating perfumes, huge poufs, small tables for people to sit around and enjoy their tea, a stifling hot atmosphere, a large stone fire place, and racks and racks of tea cups, saucers, tea leaves, and sthingys. Madam Puddifoot's also looks like a Valentine's Day card threw up all over the shop. Little cherubs float about throwing pink confetti all over the place and really this shop is only used for lovers. The food here is rather good though.

No New Posts Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop

One might think that they landed in a feather pillow when they walk into Scrivenshaft's...or maybe on the back of a large bird with thousands of different feathers. Eagle quills, owl quills, turkey quills, buzzard quills, colored quills...you can find it all here. Like in Honeydukes there's a section for some of the more odd quills like the Quick notes quills, talking quills, screaming quills, and anti-cheating quills. Yes, that's right, Scrivenshaft's has it all here!

No New Posts Post Office

At least three hundred owls line the walls of this darkened store. The soothing sound of hooting can be heard from all directions and all owls from Great Greys to Tiny Scoops, which are used for local deliveries only. The shelves on which the owls are placed are color coded by how fast you need your post delivered.

No New Posts The Hog's Head

A favorite spot of Hagrid's The Hogshead is really no place for students...Goblin uprisings have been planned here and most of the patrons are cloaked in darkness never letting anyone see what they truly look like. Dark, smoky, seedy...this pub is everything that it should be and so much more dangerous with the daily flow of trolls, goblins, hags, and other sinister characters. It has a strange smell of goats that lingers in all the rooms and the rooms upstairs can be rented for all occasions. Just be careful of the bed bugs.

No New Posts Zonko's Joke Shop - 1 Viewing

Zonko's Joke shop is the first shop students come to upon entering Hogsmeade. After they enter the shop they are greeted by horrifying screams from the various items and the Zonko brothers always have interesting ways of greeting potential customers. If they don't run out of the shop screaming students imaginations run wild with dung bombs larger than their heads, deluxe stink pellets by the case (which is four hundred stink pellets..oh the possibilities), Filibuster's Wet Start Fireworks and Regular Filibuster's Fireworks in all sorts of different packages, luminous balloons, fake vomit, Exploding Snap, and anything else a practical joker could ever think of.
