Care of Magical Creatures is taught outside Hagrid's Hut, usually in the fenced in area near his pumpkin and cabbage patches. All manner of magical creatures are studied here, most of them are highly dangerous and usually illegal. Hagrid's idea of "interesting creatures" is very different from most of the student body but those who have a sense of adventure and thrive on danger the class is a great treat for them. For those who don't, well they are usually the ones who end up with some sort of injury because they weren't paying attention.
